⚠️ Important Flight Availability Notice

Everest-region helicopter flights operate under strict altitude, weight, and weather regulations. Morning flights (06:30–08:30 AM) offer the most reliable visibility and are usually the first to be fully booked.

Due to operational safety limits, each aircraft can carry only 4–5 passengers. When cloud cover or wind delays reduce daily departures, morning seats become extremely limited.

Solo travelers can request shared flight matching for the earliest available safe departure.

👨‍✈️
Pilot’s Advisory – Gokyo → Kathmandu
Helicopter flights from Gokyo to Kathmandu operate in a high-altitude glacial basin surrounded by steep terrain and rapidly changing cloud formations. Early-morning departures offer the most stable wind conditions and clearer visibility for safe valley exit and transition toward lower elevations. Load distribution is carefully managed due to altitude and temperature factors, and all flights proceed strictly under approved weather windows, terrain clearance, and performance limitations.
